The DX900 is the first smart phone by Acer. The model is the first dual SIM mobile phone that offers support to HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE connectivity. Model comes with a touch screen that allows one-hand navigation. New interface for smooth navigational purpose with large buttons enhances the browsing experience with ultra-sharp 2.8 inch VGA display. For more than one connection as well as multiple wireless connections, the model has an intuitive communication manager that includes a Flight Mode button. The Cell Phone is powered by a Samsung S3C 6400 533 MHz processor. The DX900 comes with 256MB of ROM and 128MB of RAM. The product further features a 2.8-inch 468×640 VGA LCD touch screen. There is an auto-focus camera with 3 Megapixel. The model further has a 0.3 Megapixel front camera for the purpose of video calls. Other features that come with the phone include integrated SiRF Star III chipset, WiFi 802.11b/g and finally the Bluetooth. The phone is one dual SIM PDA phone that support HSDPA / UMTS (2100 / 1900 / 850 MHz). The model also supports Quad-Band GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz networks. The Acer DX900 runs Windows Mobile 6.1, as well.
